Watch the bridge. Everything else in this picture is a consequence, but the Bifröst coming apart is the moment — a rainbow arc cracking mid-span and scattering into hundreds of prismatic shards, falling through black smoke into the sea below.

Underneath it, Jörmungandr rears out of the water: a colossal horned serpent in iridescent teal-black, jaws open, coils breaking the surface across the whole middle of the frame. In front, five or six longships burn on dark blue water, hulls and sails fully alight, crews silhouetted at the oars. Behind, a ridge of warriors fighting in silhouette, and three volcanoes throwing lava into a black-and-orange sky.

PRINT OPTIONS

You can bring this piece home in the format that suits your space:

• POSTER PRINT — professional-grade 200 GSM matte photo paper, UV-resistant archival inks, shipped rolled in a protective tube and ready to frame your way.
• STRETCHED CANVAS — gallery-wrapped over a sturdy 1.25" frame with a black border for extra depth and contrast, hanging hardware pre-installed.
• FRAMED CANVAS — your stretched canvas finished in a solid wood frame in your choice of colour, with hardware already fitted. The frame adds roughly 1/2" on each side.

Every format uses fade- and UV-resistant archival inks on sustainably sourced materials, so the fire stays hot and the prismatic shards keep their colour.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT

• The shattering Bifröst is the one image here nobody else is selling. A rainbow bridge cracking mid-arc and breaking into hundreds of coloured shards is also the only bright colour in an otherwise orange-and-black frame, which is precisely why the eye goes straight to it.
• Jörmungandr is enormous and beautifully painted — horned, iridescent teal-black scales, jaws open, with further coils breaking the water away to the left so you can read the sheer length of it.
• The burning fleet gives the scale. Five or six longships alight on dark blue water, sails and hulls in full flame, crews still silhouetted at the oars, firelight scattered across the swell.
• The background keeps going: a long ridge of warriors fighting in silhouette, and three erupting volcanoes throwing lava and sparks into a black sky lit orange from beneath.
• Wide format and high contrast make this a straightforward large-format sell — a large ragnarok canvas with the shattering bifrost for above a sofa, a media wall or a games room, and genuinely built for the 36 × 24.
• It is the loudest thing we make, and it knows it. A wide norse apocalypse wall art for a games room does not need anything else on the wall with it.

A WORD FROM US

The thing that always got us about Ragnarök is that everyone involved knows it is coming. It is not a surprise ending; it is a scheduled one, prophesied in detail, and they all turn up anyway. The bridge breaks because the fire giants ride across it — the road to the gods used one final time, in the wrong direction, and it does not survive the crossing. That felt like the right moment to paint. Everything after it is just the fire. Explore the rest of our Norse and Viking collection for more, and reach out any time.
