Somebody sold two tickets for the price of one, and both headliners showed up starving for the spotlight.

A scaly, spike-backed kaiju and a shaggy, wild-eyed giant ape rear up shoulder to shoulder across the top of the frame, jaws stretched wide and claws hooked into the scorched orange lettering below — CREATURE and DOUBLE FEATURE, dripping and cracked like it just got clawed out of the title card. Between their claws, a lit theater marquee spells TERROR down its vertical sign, flanked by two glowing reader boards promising TWO TERRIFYING FEATURES! and TWO MONSTROUS THRILLS!, with NATURE GONE MAD! running across the bottom in bold marquee type. Searchlights fan out behind the building into a halftone orange sky, a water tower and city rooftops silhouetted on either side. Down front, a packed opening-night crowd bolts for the exits — a wide-eyed woman screaming dead center, men in hats shoving past each other, everybody running the wrong way from a night that promised two monsters and delivered on both.
