Vespers is moth mandala wall art rendered as a white woodcut on solid black — a broad-winged moth with four watching eyespots held at the centre of a medallion built from concentric bands of stippled dots. A stippled full moon sits at the top of the circle with a small bird perched on either side of it, a crown of leaves and blossom rises above, and a fan of long leaves and seed heads closes it from below.

There is no colour here at all, and that is the point. This is a black and white gothic print with the bite of hand-cut relief printing: every gradient is dots, every curve is a carved line. It is the cleanest, highest-contrast piece we make, and it holds a wall the way a devotional plate holds a page.
