The Long Gallery is dark academia wall art of a vast candlelit library hall — two storeys of shelving climbing past fluted columns to a balustraded upper gallery, long reading tables buried under stacked volumes, and a great arched passage at the far end opening onto another lit room beyond.

Everything recedes. The perspective pulls from the marble bust in the near corner all the way down the hall to a chandelier burning in the next chamber, and the whole thing is lit by candle — tapers on the tables, candelabra on the floor, a glow along the gallery rail.
