The Harvest Stone stands taller than a man in a sea of ripe wheat at the end of the day, low sun breaking gold and amber through heavy cloud. Cut into its face: a tight, abstract spiral and interlocking knotwork, worn by lichen and centuries of weather, with no runic message we can translate and no single meaning attached to it — just an old mark on old stone. Smaller standing stones sit scattered through the grass around it. A raven watches from a boulder in the foreground while others cross the sky above; a Viking longship and a small village sit reduced to silhouette against the mountains, more scale marker than subject.

This is farmland with history standing in it — not a seascape, and not a shrine.
